Think we’ve got it bad in the UK with all this rain and hail we’ve been getting? Think again! Today in the Moscow News, it was announced that the district heating supply will be switched off as the average daily temperature during the day and during the night has been above 8 degrees Celcius for five days in a row.

District heating is considered an efficient way of managing heat use in built-up areas, but it does come with its down sides – when the heat is too great – customers tend to just open their windows meaning lots of heat just escapes into the atmosphere.

Customer Questions: Does the Towerchron QE2 replace the Towerchron 2000?

Hi there

Yes, the Towerchron QE2 is a functional replacement for the Towerchron 2000. It is a different shape and will not fit on the Towerchron 2000 backplate, so you will need to use the new backplate.

The QE2 programmer will replace any Towerchron 2000 and work in a similar manner and is suitable for the same compatible boilers.
